I saw some dude cooking this “thing” on the roadside in Indonesia a few months ago and snapped a pik.

Anyone have a guess as too what it is? (it smelled ok).

Looks like a medium sized dog to me, but then again I don’t have me peepers on.

I thought it could have been dog also, but I took the picture at a safari park for kids – the combo of Kids + Muslim makes dog doubtful. I think Lamb

Yep. I forgot that 90% of the rest of the world do not dock the tails of lambs. Might be a goat? What’s really throwing me off is the depth of rib, that’s a deep chest on that thing.
